Capture Troubleshooting

Fix missing devices, preview issues, access issues, and video relinking.

Overview

  1. For Capture access denied, confirm account, workspace, and eligible access.
  2. For missing preview, check device, cable, input format, and other apps using the device.
  3. For recording folder issues, choose a simple folder and confirm available storage.

Step-by-step guide

  1. For export problems, save the session and retry after reopening Capture.
  2. For video relink, keep original video files available and verify clips after relinking.

Common mistakes / notes

  1. Use the correct workspace and product before starting.
  2. Keep local video files available when playback is needed.
  3. Use the Share File type that matches the receiving workflow.
