Capture to Kaish App
Export Capture markers as a Capture Share File JSON, then import that file into the correct Kaish App game and segment.

Overview
- Finish and verify the Live Capture session or Review Video project.
- Choose Export Capture Share File (JSON).
- Move the JSON file and the referenced source video where the iPad can access them.
- In Kaish App, create a game from the Capture import or open the intended existing game and segment.
This is the Kaish App handoff. The separate Capture Send to Analyst menu creates a portable .kaishcode for Analyst and is not interchangeable with Capture Share File JSON.
Step-by-step guide
- In Capture, confirm segment order, tag timing, notes, labels, and source video before exporting.
- Export the Capture Share File JSON and keep the original Capture package and media.
- In Kaish App, import the Capture Share File into the correct finalized game and segment, or use the supported New Game import.
- Attach or relink the referenced source video if playback is missing.
- Play early, middle, and late tags. Capture-imported tags already use Capture video timing; do not apply an unnecessary second sync offset.
- Only after playback passes should you build coach clips, presentations, reports, or player shares.
Common mistakes / notes
- Do not rename a Capture Share File JSON to
.kaishcode; the formats serve different receivers. - Confirm the Kaish App workspace, game, and segment before importing.
- Keep local video files available when playback is needed.
- If the tags appear but video does not play, relink the correct source instead of importing the share file again.
