Prove the workflow with a short test

Use the current workflow below and verify the saved package, clip playback, and intended output before a full game.

Create or open a project

1. Open Project Browser.
2. Choose New Project or Open.
3. Give the .kaishcapturepro project a clear name and choose where to save it.
4. Use the Professional Tools cards or the app menu bar to open only the windows needed.
5. Minimize or leave Project Browser in the background; opening a timeline or presentation should not require it to return to the front.

Recent projects show friendly names first. Paths and repair tools are available under Advanced / Maintenance when needed.

Project data vs reusable documents

Project-scoped data belongs to the active .kaishcapturepro project: Review timelines, project clips, project presentations, media references, the project Tag Matrix copy, and Capture session data.

Reusable documents can be opened explicitly across projects: reference or portable clip libraries, reference or standalone presentations, coding windows, reports, and compatible imports. Focus the intended destination window before adding clips; a reusable document does not receive every Review row automatically.

Choose a coding path

Use Coach Clips / Quick Flags for quick Review-side marks such as Keeper, Review Later, or Quick Note.

Use Tag Matrix / Code Window for full coding layouts, linked state buttons, label buttons, prompt-for-note actions, and live or review tagging.

First Review workflow

1. Open a Review Workspace or .kaishcode document.
2. Attach or relink media only when the document does not already contain or resolve it.
3. Open Code Window and choose the intended Review target.
4. Play the video and create a few test rows.
5. Double-click a row to test its bounded playlist, then use Review Selection for several chosen rows.
6. Focus the intended presentation and add selected clips explicitly.
7. Open another .kaishcode if needed; independent review windows should retain their own media and selection context.

First Live Capture workflow

1. Open Live Capture.
2. Choose a supported source and confirm picture, audio, format, and destination.
3. Start recording and create several test tags with Code Window or Coach Clips.
4. Confirm tag clicks do not interrupt the pinned live preview.
5. For direct Blackmagic only, use the separate DVR Review window after finalized DVR media becomes ready.
6. Stop and wait for recording and package finalization.
7. Open the finished work in Review and verify early, middle, and late playback before moving it.
