Presentations and Coach Drawing
Send exact clip ranges to the focused presentation, choose reference or standalone storage deliberately, and verify the complete meeting before sharing it.
Keep the destination and media model clear
Focus the intended Presentation Builder window, add a small test selection, and verify that reference or standalone storage matches the way the meeting will be used.

Send clips to the intended window
- Create or open the presentation that should receive clips.
- Click its Presentation Builder window so it is the most recently focused presentation.
- Return to Review, a clip library, or Find results and select only the intended clips.
- Choose Add to Presentation and verify the destination name and new rows.
- Add one test clip before sending a large batch.
This destination rule applies to reference and standalone presentations. If a different presentation receives the clips, stop and preserve the source files instead of copying and pasting the entire deck.
Choose reference or standalone

- Build and save the reference presentation.
- Choose Save Presentation As → Standalone (Portable)….
- Select a fresh destination through the macOS save panel.
- Move a copy away from the source folder and play every row.
- Compare package size and clip duration with the selected ranges.
If one source range cannot be validated, the conversion should fail without changing the reference document. Do not distribute a standalone package that contains full source segments in place of selected clips.
Clip timing
Presentation Builder keeps source timing and presentation timing separate. Source timing identifies the original media range. Presentation timing controls the row’s playback window. Trim/extend shortcuts change presentation timing only.
Before a portable save or export, play the exact start and end of representative rows. A clip-based output must contain the selected range, not the full source segment.
Imported slides
Import image files or PDF pages as teaching rows. Export PowerPoint or Keynote as PDF, then import the PDF as slides. Native PowerPoint or Keynote rendering is not claimed here.
Coach Drawing
- Select a presentation row.
- Open Coach Drawing tools.
- Add or select a Coach Drawing Hold.
- Draw while paused.
- Save the drawing to the selected row.
- Present with Show Drawings enabled.
Coach Drawings are project-layer presentation annotations. They are not burned into video and are not exported to XML unless a future export explicitly supports it.
Presentation Mode
Presentation Mode supports clip-relative playback, title, clip time, source time, labels, notes, drawing overlays, overlay size presets, previous/next navigation, Space play/pause, Shift-Left rewind fallback, Shift-Right fast-forward, drawing shortcuts, and Escape to close.
