Organize clips for staff workflows
Build clip groups and organize coded moments for review, presentation, and sharing.
Prepare clips for distribution
Use Capture Pro workflows to organize and package clips for staff review and delivery.
Package Clips
Package Clips are clips for the current .kaishcapturepro package. Use them to stage Review or Presentation clips before sending them onward.
- Search and filters.
- Keeper, Favorite, Review Later, and labels.
- Clip-relative playback.
- Add Selected to Presentation.
- Add Selected to Clip Hub.
- Metadata-only Clip Pack import/export.
- Selected-bin XML export.
Package Clips do not auto-sync from Review Coding. Add clips explicitly.
Clip Hub
Clip Hub is an app-level global clip library across packages. Use it for reusable clips, cross-package teaching clips, and Global Presentations.
- Multiple Clip Hub Libraries.
- Search and clip playback.
- Metadata-only
.kaishcliphubfiles. - Metadata-only Clip Hub file import/export.
- Global Presentations backed by the selected Clip Hub Library.
- Explicit Send to Package Presentation.
Clip Hub media remains referenced unless another workflow explicitly bundles media.
Clip Packs and media
.kaishclippack files are metadata-only. They can transfer selected clips between Package Clips and Presentation Builder workflows, but they do not include video media.
If a Clip Pack opens with missing media, use Media Manager to relink the source media.
Metadata-only versus media-included
- Use Clip Pack for metadata-only clip transfer.
- Use Clip Hub File for metadata-only global library transfer.
- Use Standalone Package with Media when another Mac needs a self-contained package with media copied inside.
